Windows application data
PetPalmanac’s working animal profiles, medications, health history, appointments, insurance details, expenses, notes, photos, documents, exports, and backups are kept on the user’s Windows computer. They are not uploaded to this store as part of normal local use.
Store information
When someone makes a purchase, the website stores the selected product, order and payment status, amount, currency, PayPal order and capture identifiers, the purchaser’s name and PayPal email, refund status, and download-access record. Payment card or bank details are handled by PayPal and are not stored by PetPalmanac.
Administration and security
Store data is held in a protected database on the hosting account. Administrative sessions, rate limits, audit records, and verified PayPal webhooks are used to operate and protect the store. No system can promise absolute security, but the website is designed to collect only the purchase information it needs.
Medical information
PetPalmanac organizes information and does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace a veterinarian. Users control what they enter into the desktop application and where they keep their backups.
